The most famous wine judge in Australia has just scored them 98/100. They were as rare as hens teeth to start with.

Silly times. Your giggles are just gorgeous- real belly laughs that are only shared when you think worthy, but they are always worth the wait.

A very cold windy morning but the playground is always fun.

Caught up with Ella and Tyson plus mums for a play. Can't believe you all met at 4 months old.

The big red slide

Yesterday we had breakfast with Cat and Luca. After discovering Rockefeller closed we walked to the Pier and had hot chocolates and raisin toast near the open fire. 

Luckily the weather held out and you had a quick play together on the playground before home. You wentdown the big red slide on your own, I went down next to you holding your hand. You whizzed down so fast and were very happy at the end!

Lots of new words coming out too. Moon is a favourite at the moment. And we do knuckle bumps, today you said 'bump' when you held out your little fist to me.

A lack of posts- the midweek squeeze.

Not much time for anything midweek mate- getting you to childcare is a big job given that we chose to send you to the good one across town and we are hippies with only one car. 

I always look forward to the train with you- you waving to all the people, and throwing the occasional barny. This one was with custard. 

Meatballs

Ikea lunch with granny followed by a couple of hours of shopping. 

A quick trip to the deli for milk in the evening, rugged up and watching the sun go down.

And just cause you are one cute man.

Storming the stage, fish tank and the waves outside on Bastille Day

Rocked the West Beach sea squadron today for your first taste of frenchie culture in Adelaide. 

We struggled to keep you off the stage full of balloons, then you topped over the fish tanks that kids were fishing in, then we stopped by the Murphys at Rostrevor. 

All the while it was very story outside, we are in the middle of a 'cold snap' with winter daytime temp not much more than 10 degs. 

A walk at Semaphore and a scary sausage ended a big day.

Moved you in to your own room today mate, a big day after sleeping with you at our bedside for more than 18months. 

Suspect it's harder on mum- you went down quickly tonight.

Treats!

Supermarket shopping can be very fun. Today we had smiley fritz, a toy and balloon! You were very pleased at these gifts (no thank you but you did say thank you at childcare for the ideas time this week) but then threw them on the floor. Typical.

At home you carried your things to the door. You've just started being semi reliable with following me from the car to the house.

Finally, a mandy treat on the couch. Sometimes you are good enough at 'sitting' to not go in the high chair. Eugh. Growing up so fast.

A big 4 July party at ours this weekend. Uncle Mike showing you how it is done. Wines from all parts of USA were very interesting to taste- dad is very much in a Chardonnay zone right now. 18 people.

You were in great form today too- 8 for lunch- to remember Uncle Josh. Casey is besotted with you- must be a blonde thing.

Hit Nordburger with Granny and Glenn on a cold Wednesday night to celebrate. 

Not sure how old Granny is, best not to ask women about their age after a certain point- she's in great form. 

Big hugs all round from you as you start to learn the joy they bring (like Mum and Dad I reckon you are a pleaser...) and you were just as surprised as Granny to see the pop-out alien in the birthday card that you chose.
