Our days together

After a couple of days at childcare it's super fun to hang out again.

Giving you the whole toy box as a treat.

At bedtime the day after childcare- asleep before finishing your bottle.

Cute dude- on our way to Pilates. You crawl around and stand at the screen watching people outside.

Babycino, bread and fish and chips on the menu today when we went for a stroll with granny.

Catching flies

A big day of childcare.

Apparently today you crawled in one of the little cubbies with items from the cooking set, turned around and crawled out. There is a little step so that's pretty cool- plus you didn't drop your toys of course!

You do have a wierd obsession of holding your 'toy of the moment' and crawling around with them. Clack clack clack on the floorboards.

And turns out babies have possies- and you have made it in, one if the main crew at childcare now. 

Australia Day

Daddad has been sick this long weekend but you and I managed to go for a play on the sand- your first proper one. We built a little sandcastle that you smashed down and I just followed you as you crawled around and picked up shells. Good beach baby!

Had the good fish and chips with dad for tea. You are loving chips but didn't rate the tomato sauce ;)

Sleepy time

Everyone has come for a cuddle on mum tonight.

Exploring morning!

After 2 days at childcare you are now pretty exhausted- this is on the train last night.

But a big burst of energy this morning that turned out like this...

Down for a nap now whilst mum cleans this all up!

Keeping me up

Why oh why can't you do this in your own bed bud, I've got work tomorrow!

One of those nights, as soon as I put you back in bed you cry. I think it's your poor teeth- next big molar on its way. 

You got up at 5 this morning too, so I am in the childcare run so you can nap in the car... Waiting for you to wake so I can take you in.

Big weekend

Trying to get you through all this teething, and changing sleeping patters.  

Put up your new clock this weekend, and a few other things, to make your room more your own. 

With you only moments away from taking your first propper steps, mum took the extraordinary step of backing up her iphone 16gb unit (iphone, or whatever you have, will no doubt have much more storage than this- but mum could still fill it I'm sure!) so that she could capture the action. 

Weekend, here goes!

Had your seat adjusted at Baby Bunting. You are more keen on the drivers seat.  Playing with the lights this time. And trying to turn the wheel.

But it didn't bother you too much as you can see!

Day 1.

A big day for you mate, and I think it will be less adjustment for you than for us. 

Train ride in was interesting- different people say hello and we saw Chris from dads old work for a chat about Tassie. We'll go there one day! 

Managed to get you there in one piece despite the rain, and mum did a great job with the checklist so I think we got it all done to her standard too. 

Thanks for being the cool dude you are. It helps us a lot. 

Your first label on stuff you will probably lose. 

We just missed the train!

Childcare

JM's first day in childcare! He did really well, took awhile to get down for his nap but then slept for about 2 hours. Little guy ate a bit of everything and lots of exploring.

It was a long day though and he was buggered by the time we got home, a bit whinge on the train until he was out of the pusher looking out the window.

Another day tomorrow, fingers crossed it goes well again!

Walking in the rain

After 40+ degree days we have had a change in weather so with clouds looming we headed out for an afternoon walk to get chicken for tea. It started to rain on the way home so we ran back- practicing the word oh-oh! which you throught was hilarious.

We then sat on the verandah watching the rain and eating roast potatoes- yum!

Another orientation

Second day of orientation at childcare. What a superstar, we disappeared for almost an hour to do paperwork and I don't even think you noticed us gone ;(

First time in a proper sand pit too! You are settling in very well- next week I will head off for coffee whilst you hang out. As long as you are kept busy you seem to cope fine without me (which makes me happy and very sad!). 

Mums day

Hanging out with my guy again til work next week. Checked out child are this morning. So very glad we kept harassing this centre for a spot. Less convenient but it is great.

Let me our of this chair! I want to go out and play.

Fun play time when we got home too. You are cute but so grotty all the time now!

Trolley time

First time in the sit up trolley seat rather than the baby one. What a good helper! Lots of smiles for everyone.
