Friday

Playgroup this morning. We made some Googly eye monsters for Halloween and as usual collected all the plastic animals during singing.

You were good with these magnetic toys though, and sat and built.
Mum hurt her back- your 15 kilos are pretty heavy now. And it was an even less successful evening after Wilma nipped your nose. Don't get between Wilma and carrot!
More shock than anything but in high spirits again pretty quickly.
Wilma is in the doghouse.

Boys day

Dad for drop off and pick up today at Childcare.

A visit from grandad for grandparents day!

Peacocks and pandas

Super keen on pandas after our zoo trip.
At the shop you kindly said thank you for your smiley fritz- but then, when waving good bye, said 'panda'.
The lady didn't seem to offended- she was wearing a black hat and apron and a white shirt. So, all in all very clever.

You just love drawing out here at the moment. Lots of animals, not mums specialty but you are imaginative. The peacocks (very good imagination for these) are you favourites. We go out a few times a day at your request to look at them.

Ella Ella

Bumped into Ella and Jo.
You two are looking so grown up.
Gave cuddles to each other when leaving.
Just after you ran away all the way around cibo out of my sight. Circle of bla.

Cheese fest

Confident little dude at cheese fest. People everywhere, you were content running between my lap and dads, grabbing crackers and cheese.
Water and wine! You are good at 'cheers'ing us with your bottle.
Comfy spot for snacks. You did wander around a bit, look at people and come back.
Happy to stroll. Good at holding our hand and walking now. Well for a bit!
Crossed our first major intersection with a green man just before this.

Mischief man

Oats on the floor. The next day it was the entire pack of mini wheats.
Making a 'bed' on the couch.
Teeth? Hands? You love asking for these thugs cause then you go in the bathroom.
Helping with the washing

Dadad's birthday- the final chapter

Last outing for dad's birthday at t-chow tonight with the Murphy-Tripodis.
The little men were manageably crazy. Apart from that bit where you threw a chopstick at dad's face and it cut his eyebrow (only a little). You said sorry when asked and gave dad a cuddle.
Oh, and dad tipped $10 for cleaning. The floor was a mess ;)

Our big boy

You are filling out the cot.
Last night.
Remember this? The size you were when we bought the cot- at baby bunting trying it out.

Dad turns 33

A fun few days for dad's birthday.

Early pressies Friday morning.
Dad's favourite restaurant- nord burger for tea.
Sunset and sleepy baby on the way home.

Party time at home on Saturday. A cool 30+ crowd for tapas and wine.
JM with the girls.

Winding down. The buggers just kept eating. Cheese plates out while waiting for pizza for the stayers.
Night dad. Attempt 1 to put you to bed. I think you went to sleep on attempt 3 ;) too excited to be hosting.
Love you dadad. Mum and JM xx

We're going to the zoo

A great day at the zoo with grandad in dad's birthday- sorry you had to go to work dad!

Dancing to pump up the jam on the way to town.

First to the shoe store. Much more opinionated than last time. No no no no no. You had to be held by grandad and eventually we got a funky pair of red sneakers and your first sandals.

At the zoo for opening time. All the animals were awake and active, lots of eating and talking. Bit if rain but it was warm and kept the masses away.

You loved the pandas (and pretty much said panda the rest of the day), otters, meerkats, sea lions, birds, monkeys and the cassowary. Less interested in the giraffes and wallabies ;)
Nuggets and chips and then home. Asleep within a couple of minutes- an exciting morning.

Still buggered in the afternoon.

Le week-end

Dads in bed with man flu so quiet weekend with mummy.

Tick tock!
At the see saw!
Spinning.
More spinning with mum. Eugh this makes me feel quite ill.
Handsome boy on the trike.
And the outside trike. Standing and drinking...
Still into picking 'lowlers'.
At the port festival, jiving to the kids band.
Ooo, sausage roll.
Finished off the weekend with out first trip to the beach without the carrier. You walked almost all the way. We sat and played in the soft sand and collected shells.

After no naps this weekend you went off to bed quickly tonight. Still the nicest thing, having you fall asleep in my arms.
